I installed a tail tidy on my Honda CB500F tonight. It took me about 3 hours.
The instructions were not fantastic, but I believe that to be par for the course for motorcycle accessories. It's my experience that most installation instructions are written by people that sort of watched a guy install a similar kit on a different bike once. My tail tidy kit instructions had a bunch of steps/pictures that just didn't exist on my bike. Of course, all the "helpful" photos were zoomed in so close that there was no frame of reference as to WHERE on the bike I was even supposed to be looking.
But now my bike has a reasonable rear end instead of OMG SO MUCH PLASTIC holding the license plate up.
Next up - exhaust!

I HATE how much plastic there is on the tail sections now. my SV..I swear I lost 5 lbs in plastic.
PICTURES.
for exhaust: delkavic makes some VERY reasonably priced slipons.

Stock tail, acres of plastic:
New tail, much more reasonable:
Also, you can tell that my bike is parked in the dark part of the garage. I had to get the 500W halogen work light out just to get any kind of decent picture and it's still not great.

See above for pics. Also, I think I'm gonna go w/ Akrapovic, because one of the guys at work has them as a client and he might be able to score me a deal.
